Key Point of 7S: SHITSUKE (quality)
From the advance level chart, the objects of SEIRI (cleaning), SENTON (neatening), SEISO (clearing), SETKETSU (clean) are working place and products; the objects of Safety are human and products; the object of Surroundings is society and the object of SHITSUKE (quality) is humans who are the most resources of the enterprise. In Chinese, “企 (enterprise)” consists of “人(human)” and “止(stop)”, without “人(human)”, the “企 (enterprise)” will be “止(stop)”. Therefore, in the operation of an enterprise, the issue related to humans is well dealt with, the employees can work hard and the enterprise thus becomes prosperous.
In 7S program, we are patient to direct the employees to manage SEIRI (cleaning), SENTON (neatening), SEISO (clearing), with the purpose not only to ask them to arrange all things, clean equipments but also to slowly influence and change their thought via subtle work and let them cultivate good habits, thus further do everything according to rules, disciplines, regulations and standards of the factory and become excellent employees with high spirit. When the quality of the employees is improved, the safety of humans and equipments can be guaranteed and the environment protection in the community can be paid much attention to.
In a word, 7S program is to heighten people’s quality, promote moral cultivation and finally educate new humans.
